Multi-award winning writer, Shaun Grant caps off a stellar year with ‘Berlin Syndrome’ making it’s world premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Starring Theresa Palmer and Max Riemelt,  ‘Berlin Syndrome’ is the story of a passionate holiday romance that takes an unexpected and sinister turn when an Australian photographer wakes one morning in a Berlin apartment and is unable to leave.

Congratulations to TFA’s Simon Chapman (DoP) ‘Killing Ground’ – world premiere, Sundance Film Festival 2017

‘Killing Ground” will have it’s world premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Starring Aaron Pedersen, Ian Meadows, Harriet Dyer and  Aaron Glenane, the story follows Ian and Samantha who arrive at an isolated campsite to find an SUV and a tent — with no sign of the occupants. The discovery of a distressed child wandering in the woods unleashes a terrifying chain of events that will test the young couple’s breaking point.

Chris Bath to present Evenings on ABC Radio Sydney, Canberra and NSW

Chris Bath will present Evenings on ABC Radio Sydney, Canberra and NSW Monday – Thursday from 7pm-10pm, commencing 30 January, 2017.

Chris will also bring her on-air experience and writing talent to ABC News broadcast and digital platforms and will continue to be involved in other television projects throughout the year.

Sean Byrne’s The Devil’s Candy at 2016 Sydney Film Festival & Melbourne International Film Festival

284629-the-devil-s-candy-0-250-0-375-cropThe Devil’s Candy has been one of the first films to be announced for this years Sydney Film Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival. TFA’s Sean Byrne wrote and directed the feature which premiered at Midnight Madness in Toronto in 2015.

TFA’s Simon Chapman was Director of Photography.

Sean Byrne’s The Devil’s Candy wins at Gerardmer Film Festival

Sean-Byrne-01 Sean Byrne’s latest feature film, The Devil’s Candy, has won two awards at the Gerardmer International Film Festival in France.

The award-winning director’s latest offering won the Prix du Public – Audience Award along with Best Original Score award.

Congratulations to Sean who is currently in Australia developing his next feature film.

Shaun Grant Nominated for AACTA Award

Shaun-Grant-profileThe nominations for the 5th AACTA Awards have been announced with congratulations going to Shaun Grant.

Nominated for Best Screenplay in TV with co-writer, Jacquelin Perske for Foxtel’s successful mini-series, Deadline Gallipoli, (Part One), produced by Matchbox Pictures.

Congratulations should also go to the the ABC series Glitch, nominated for Best Drama and shot by TFA’s Simon Chapman.
