Simon Chapman

Simon is an award-winning and in-demand Cinematographer. His television credits include Dr Who (Dir. Jennifer Perrott) for the BBC, Glitch (Dir. Emma Freeman) for Matchbox Pictures/NBC Universal for ABC Australia and the award-winning series, Nowhere Boys also produced by Matchbox Pictures/NBC Universal. Simon also shot The Wrong Girl for Network Ten and Friday On My Mind for ABC Australia – both produced by Playmaker Media plus, Harrow for Hoodlum Entertainment and ABC International.

His feature film credits include Joe Cinque’s Consolation (dir: Sotiris Dounoukos), Killing Ground (dir: Damien Power), Cut Snake (dir. Tony Ayres) and produced by Matchbox Pictures. The Devil’s Candy (Writer/Director Sean Byrne) and Little Death (dir. Josh Lawson) produced by See Pictures and Hopscotch.

Other feature credits include the acclaimed Griff the Invisible (dir. Leon Ford), produced by Jan Chapman, Scott Meek Transmission and Paramount Pictures and The Loved Ones (Writer/Director Sean Byrnes), produced by Mark Lazarus and Paramount Pictures Insurge.

Simon recently shot Gentleman Jack (Dir. Jennifer Perrott) for HBO in the UK, and Upload for Amazon Studios in Canada, and will soon commence shooting on a number of projects in North America including Sacred Lies and Space Force.
