Nicki Gardiner

Nicki Gardiner graduated from the Australian Film and Television School with a BA specialising in Production Design.  She has since worked extensively across films and TVC’s as a Production Designer and Set Decorator.

Nicki is currently the Production Designer on John Sheedy directed Feature Film H is for Happiness and recently completed her role as the Production Designer on Australian Gangster, directed by Gregor Jordan with John Edwards and Dan Edwards Producing for Village Roadshow. Her other production design credits include the short film The Defector directed by Scott Mannion, Aunt Maggie directed by Leah Purcell and Guilty directed by Matthew Sleeth for Savage Films.

Nicki’s Set Decorating credits include the critically acclaimed feature films Lion directed by Garth Davies and produced by See Saw Films as Set Decorator, 2.22 Directed by Paul Currie as Set Director and Gods of Egypt directed by Alex Proyas as Set Decorator and the yet to be released Hotel Mumbai directed by Anthony Maras as Set Decorator. Her work on Lion has been nominated for the Art Directors Guild – Excellence in production Design Awards for her role as Set Decorator.

Nicki was one of the main Set Decorator’s on the multi-award winning Mad Max Fury Road directed by George Miller and production designed by Colin Gibson. Nicki’s extensive feature film credits range from small to big budget movies including The Railway Man, The Tree, Knowing, Superman, Anacondas, Peter Pan and The Matrix. 

Nicki is a well respected Production Designer for TVC’s consistently working with select directors and production companies including Jungle, Goodoil Films and Revolver.
